The Cal State Monterey Bay Disc Golf team leaves Tuesday morning for the 2011 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships in Augusta, Georgia.

They enter the 36-team tournament ranked #9 in the nation. Other West Coast schools ranked are the University of Oregon (#2), UC Santa Cruz (#16), San Diego State (#20), California Baptist (#23), Pasadena City College (#30), and the University of the Pacific (#41).

The Otters earned an automatic berth in this year's national championship by finishing tied for 11th in last year's tournament.
